David Kepron
David Kepron is Retail Studio Principal at Little Diversified Architectural Consulting, where he leads the creation of brand experience environments rooted in social and cultural anthropology, neuroscience and emerging digital technologies. A multidisciplinary practitioner working across architecture, art, education and research, Kepron was inducted into the Retail Design Institute’s Legion of Honor in 2024 for his exceptional contributions to retail experience design. Prior to Little, he served as VP of Global Design Strategies at Marriott International, overseeing guest room and lobby redesigns for Westin, Aloft, Element and Residence Inn and leading design strategy for Renaissance, Le Meridien, Autograph Collection and Moxy.
Kepron has held academic appointments at FIT, Drexel University, LIM College and institutions in Montreal and Singapore, and most recently taught Cognitive Science for Designers in the Master of Professional Studies in Retail Design program at Columbus College of Art and Design. He is an Advisory Board member of the Center for Retail Transformation at George Mason University, author of “Retail (r)Evolution” (2014), host of the podcast “NXTLVL Experience Design” and a sought-after international speaker on consumer behavior, brain science, store design and digital transformation.
